Christian 'Chili' Gallei

Then suddenly I became Chili.

It wasn’t my idea … it was fine, for many years, to simply sign Christian to my art.
But, slowly my friends and clients started asking me why I was calling myself “Chili” since that’s how my signature looked to them. So, I became Chili Gallei.

Unmistakable Chili.

Anyone who knows Chili Gallei recognizes his unique style immediately. At first glance, it often looks somewhat frayed, as if a wild artist has dropped random fragments from a sky full of ideas without structure or meaning. What a mistake.Nothing is random in the work of Christian Chili Gallei. Ruthlessly pragmatic, Chili begins projects working closely with clients to precisely analyse their specific needs and setting before beginning his work. While almost every project begins with a shock, clients soon embrace Chili’s approach of detailed analysis and focused products, as evidenced by their close involvement in the design process (and many coffees consumed together). Chili Gallei combines theatre, graphic design, art and media to provide clients with videos, stage sets, exhibition stands, corporate design, websites and more.

Da heisst plötzlich einer Chili.

Es genügt ja, als Christian im Lauf der Jahre seine vielen Werke zwecks Unverwechselbarkeit ein bisschen salopp zu signieren.

Schon steht da Chili und dann dauerts nicht mehr lang, und man ist der Chili. Der Chili Gallei, weil Gallei heisst die Familie seit Generationen und das passt dann sehr gut dazu, um eine gefragte Marke im kreativen Business zu schaffen.

Chili Gallei macht Ausstellungs-Design, Bühnenbilder, Messestände, Motion Graphix, Opening Titels, Info-Grafiken, Corporate Design.

Er macht das online, offline, interaktiv. Für Film, Kunst, Theater, Musik, Mode, Wirtschaft und Industrie.

Unverwechselbar Chili.

Wer Chili Gallei einmal kennt, erkennt auch seinen Stil und der ist definitiv einzigartig. Auf den ersten Blick etwas ausgefranst, als ob da ein wildes Genie wahllos gestalterische Versatzstücke aus einem Himmel voller Ideen fallen lässt und sich nicht weiter darum kümmert. Welch ein Irrtum.

Nichts ist Zufall im Schaffen des Ing. Christian Chili Gallei. Gnadenlos pragmatisch werden Anforderungen, Umfeld und logische Abläufe beim Auftraggeber hinterfragt und analysiert, bevor es an die Umsetzung geht. Nahezu jeder Geschäftspartner hat nach kurzem Schreck gerne die Zahl der Kaffees und Minuten schon im ersten Meeting erhöht und für die folgenden gleich genügend Zeit reserviert.
